AFTER THE PAPERWORK

What the fortnight after signing actually involves on your side

Most explanations stop at "terms are agreed". Here is the rest — what gets prepared, who does the work, what is asked of your team, and when the money actually lands.

THE PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

What people ask once the deal is real

How much of our team's time does this take?

A one-time extract from the systems named in the licence. There is no integration to build and nothing to maintain afterwards.

When exactly does payment start counting?

From approval of the prepared data, not from signature. Net 30 to 60 once the data has been approved, shared, and anonymized.

Can we see what is being handed over?

Yes. Nothing is final until the prepared data is approved, and the scope was fixed before anything was signed.

Does Polyshares retain access afterwards?

No. There is no standing connection to your systems. The licence covers a defined slice of data, not ongoing access.

THE SEQUENCE

Four stages between signature and settlement

None of this is unusual, but it is worth knowing before you agree to it rather than after.

Extraction

The material named in the licence is pulled once from the systems it lives in. Scope was fixed before signing.

Preparation

The record is organised into something usable. This is where identifying fields come out.

Approval

Nothing is final until the prepared data is approved. Payment terms run from that point, not from signature.

Settlement

Net 30 to 60 once the data has been approved, shared, and anonymized.
